| Before
the Service
This is the music played, or sung while the congregation is taking
their seats. It is usually quiet and unobtrusive music used to mask
the whispered chatter of friends comparing hats, relatives greeting
each other, and also the sounds of the groom's knees knocking together.

Entrance of Bride
This marks the formal beginning to the service and the point at
which the congregation stands as the groom gets to see his bride
for the first time in that dress. The music should reflect
this moment in the service with something suitably regal.

Between Readings
A Hymn may be sung here.
Signing of the Register
If you have a choir they will usually sing at this point to entertain
the congregation while they wait for the bridal party to appear.
Blessing
For those who want to get the most out of the choir, this is the
last opportunity for music before you leave the church.
